A gilt bronze and painted porcelain clock. The movement, framed by two sphinxes, surmounts a square base with rich decoration of pilasters, garlands and stripes of hearts, pine cones and ram's head, which rests on four spindle legs. Decor in reserves: shepherdesses and shepherds for the front, landscapes for the sides, birds and flowers for the dial. Anchor suspension movement, striking on the hours and half hours, perfect working condition. Beautiful gilding. The dial bears the address, partly erased: “Rue de Bretagne, 55. Paris” The plate bears the stamp of: “JAPY brothers et Cie, medal of honor. »
