Marius Bessone, born in Vallauris in 1929, created his workshop with his wife Huguette in Vallauris, passionate about research throughout his career, he filed a patent in 1958 invention concerning a process of decoration in relief on ceramic. He ,then ,manufactured lamp bases and cups. In 1966, he obtained an honorary diploma at the national art ceramic competition in Vallauris. In 1968, he won a bronze medal at the national competition for art objects in Rouen.
