Large Illuminating Sculpture Lamp "espana With Fan" Signed Guerbe, Le Verrier Art Deco 1925

Spectacular and large Art Deco illuminating sculpture lamp, in cast iron from an old edition depicting a dancing Espana holding a large fan in her hands. This model is hard to find because it's one of the very first, as evidenced by the fan, made by Daum Nancy, in white translucent glass enhanced with stylized Art Deco motifs, original light green nuanced patina, egyptian dress inspiration with gold highlights and finally installation sheet for the sculpture in marble which attests of first examples. It stand on a portor marble base with tiers, electrified and fully functional.
This is an iconic model from the Max Le Verrier workshops, which after obtaining a gold medal in 1925 at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris, published several sculptures, it was produced jointly with Raymonde Guerbe wife of Pierre Le Faguays who used to work with Max Le Verrier. “Guerbe” signature hollowed out on the base.
Mint condition, some light wear linked to its great age: this is an old edition and not a copy or a reissue.
