Very fine carving for this important tray in solid exotic wood, carved in high relief with a large dragon entwined around its perimeter forming the handles, as well as bats of happiness carrying sapèque "ancient Chinese currency of prosperity that the large dragon seems to be chasing.
This type of symbolic object was often offered on special occasions, and the one presented here is in beautiful condition, having just undergone a long and meticulous cleaning, as it was unrecognizable.
Its dimensions at the ends are 63cm long and 37cm wide.
The object is really interesting and very beautiful; nevertheless, there are some minor accidents, small chips on the dragon's head and small cracks in the wood, but nothing to detract from the beauty of this tray.
