Louis XVI period. 1785 In walnut and walnut veneer, it opens with three belt drawers and rests on single-fluted sheathed legs on all four sides. The sliding writing desk lined with green leather has ten inverted pyramid compartments, six drawers of different heights and widths. The cylinder decorated, in ebony fillets, with three rectangular panels, the one in the center inlaid with an oval burl medallion on an acacia background and a large frame of stained beech with spandrels, between two panels with rotating veins on a background walnut surrounded by acacia decorated with tinted discs in the corners. The tray lined with a baguette on three sides. Foliated rosette pull buttons. With its label dated in ink June 30, 1785.
