A Louis XVI period mahogany traveling secretary. It opens with a drawer in the upper section, a drop-front covered in gilt-tooled leather revealing three small drawers, and a further drawer in the frieze. It rests on four tapered legs. The upper section is adorned with two carrying handles. Keys are present and the locks are functional. Late 18th century. Dimensions: height 114 cm, width 52.5 cm, depth 37.5 cm.
