"Empire II - Napoleon III Fireplace In Bleu Fleuri Marble, Ca. 1850"
An imposing ànd élegant, antique fireplace in Empire II-Napoléon III style. Made out of the highly valued, finest Bleu Fleuri marble. This marble was in the past used for the same purpose as Bleu Turquin, but was from a greater luxury. The Bleu Fleuri marble was sold in the 19th century at the same price as the Brèche Violet.  A double moulded shelf is resting on a plain frieze and plain cornerblocks. The massive jambs are nicely carved with Acanthus-leafs.  A wonderful fireplace in great condition. This classy fireplace brings a great sense of  history and design into your home. It stood once in an important 'Maison Maître' in Mons in Belgium. Will be delivered with old marble floortiles to finish a frontfloor. We have also in stock: Original foyer-tiles ànd frontfloortiles to finish the whole installation in a perfect way!  The house was build in  ca.1850, so this fireplace must be from that same period.  Worldwide shipping.
