Vase In Opaline And Bronze, Restoration Period
Rare “jade” colored opal crystal vase. Cornet-shaped, the upper part is cut with diamond points and the corolla neck with radiating decoration. It rests in a Gothic mount, in gilded and patinated bronze with arcade decor. The marble base rests on four winding feet decorated with palmettes. French work from the beginning of the 19th century, also called cathedral shaped, are emblematic pieces of the Restoration period, and are highly sought after by collectors.
