REGAGNON André Firmin (1902 - 1976) Genre painter, landscapes. In Paris, he was a student of Jules Adler and Joseph Bergès. He exhibited in Paris since 1926 at the Salon des Artistes Français. He grew up in Saint-Girons (Ariège), where his father Eugène and his uncle Albert ran a drapery and hangings business. His maternal grandfather being a framer, he had many relationships with the painters of the time and turned to painting at a very young age. Thus, after having studied at the École des beaux-arts de Toulouse and the École des beaux-arts de Paris, his path crossed that of the Saint-Gironnais master Joseph Bergès (1878-1956) with whom he perfected his talent.
