Beautiful bucolic atmosphere for this oil on canvas by the English artist living in Provence at the end of the 19th century Walter Biddlecombe. The work is in good condition, only a small old restoration (visible on the back but totally invisible on the paint side). It is signed and dated 1888 lower right and measures 60 cm by 81 cm without frame. English artist living in Provence, friend of Monticelli, he exhibited at the Royal Academy and Suffolk Streert from 1883 to 1886
