Artist: Enrico Barbieri (1818-1888)
Enrico Barbieri was born in Parma on November 17, 1818, died there on November 22, 1888. A student of the Academy of his city, he won the Rome Grand Prix. Several of his works are kept in the Parma museum. In 1860 he was appointed inspector of the Parma Academy and in 1862 director of the art gallery.
