Gold Wax Case And Nobility Coat-of-arms, Louis XV Period Work
Gold, Cylindrical case for wax with lobed sides. The polished, pink gold case is embellished with bands of sculpted diamonds with stylized flowers in them, set on a matte, gold background. This case is elegantly decorated and the way it plays with light was carefully calculated by its artisans. The seal has kept its markings. Work from the Louis XV period.
