Very good quality of realization for this landscape work with the river animated by characters and boats at the quay. Note the two central characters, travelers, heading towards a property at the foot of the magnificently represented mountains. A story is clearly told here with the presence at the top right of a text to be deciphered. Piece also accompanied by its magnificent period frame inlaid with ivory.
