Very beautiful art deco vase with contrasting vegetal decoration giving a nice decorative effect. Excellent condition of both structure and cover. Signature under the base.
Camille Tharaud was a great designer and technician in the 1930s in Limoges, where he owned a factory. He developed a particular and original technique of enameling in the thickness of the paste, giving a remarkable depth and softness to the glaze that is unique in Limoges production.
Camille Tharaud successfully participated in numerous artistic events, including Les Arts Déco in 1925 ,L'Exposition Coloniale ,Sèvres and New York.
