A 19th-century cloisonné bronze platter, Napoleon III period. A very beautiful platter with a central floral design adorned with butterflies. Magnificent colors give this piece a vibrant and highly decorative character. Excellent overall condition and a beautiful patina. Note the meticulous work on the back, decorated in a lovely blue and gilt bronze spirals. The cloisonné work is exquisite, evident in the numerous details.
