Pair Of Louis XIV Candlesticks

Pair of candlesticks dating from the late 17th to early 18th century in the French Classical style. A very beautiful pair in turned and guilloché bronze with lovely ornamental decoration. Of particular note is the presence of the original wide bobeches at the bottom, which is quite rare. Very stable thanks to a wide and elegant base (14 cm) and a solid structure. The metal has a very shimmering patina and is in excellent condition. This pair would be perfect displayed symmetrically on a fine period piece of furniture or in a contemporary interior due to their high quality.
