Antoine Gatti is one of those forgotten in the history of art… He would have been born in Marseilles in 1852, but no one knows where he died, How did he come to painting? Where did he live? What career did he have? We don't know, but we keep some pretty canvases from him representing bouquets of flowers full of charm and delicacy, landscapes and a few scenes featuring lovely hens in a farmyard, in a large , like here.
