Very long and solid basting spoon from the Louis XV period in sterling  silver with the hallmark of the city of Paris for the year 1752. It is of a model commonly called "au filet" or fiddle and thread and is engraved with a coat of arms of a married couple  , crowned with a crown of marquis. The husband possibly à membre of the Montagut family. It weighs 180 grams and is 30.6 cm long.
