18th Century Russian Scriban
It opens with a flap inlaid with exotic woods and representing 3 stylized medallions where a woman dressed at the antique decorating a vase, this flap reveals a door flanked by 4 drawers in mahogany and brass rods. It also opens with three drawers inlaid with foliage and floral motifs. The sides are sumptuously inlaid with a flowered Medicis vase in a medallion supported by 2 winged putti in a decoration of flowers and acanthus leaves.
The lock signed Kouzmin TMA.
