A dome topped velvet casket with gilt bronze mounts.
Italian, 17th century.
Measures 25 x 12 x 13cm.
The velvet and mounts are applied to a wooden core. The gilt bronze mounts are in fine condition and are without losses and show gentle age related wear, the casket is secured by two locks although they remain unlocked as there are no keys present. There is wear and some staining to the velvet as is expected.
