19thc Box In Carved Walnut All Faces
19th century box in finely carved walnut. The date 1840 is inscribed in one of the cartouches. It should be noted some gaps on the angles which do not affect the solidity or the aesthetics of this object. Was to be used to store chess pieces according to the inscription on one side.
