Haute Epoque Wooden Alms Box
A very rare Gothic-era carved wooden alms box. There are obvious signs of wear and damage caused by woodworm (these have been treated, and the box is reinforced with Paraloid). It might require some minor restoration, but it is nonetheless a very rare object with a splendid patina. It is available with or without a padlock and dates from the late 16th or early 17th century (without the padlock, the price is €1,600).
