Baradelle, Turned Blonde Horn, Incomplete, 19thc Or Earlier

Interesting item , curious, called Baradelle, or Gallimard. This is a travel writing desk. The large compartment, used to store the pen, the small space, now absent, contained the inkwell. The compartments are equipped with a screw system. This pretty model is made of turned blond horn.
Bad condition: many wormholes, lack of a compartment, and crack in the upper part. European working, probably French, dating from the first part of the 19th century, or most certainly earlier.
