Mirror In A Golden Frame In The Renaissance Style
Mirror in a cassetta frame in carved and gilded wood with gold leaf decorated with carved pearls and foliage in the pastiglia dish. Inspired by Italian Renaissance models, the frame must probably date from the end of the 19th or the beginning of the 20th century. Some accidents are to be noted in the gilding. The visible surface of the mirror measures 46.8x29.6 cm.
