Marble Fireplace, Napoleon III

A big marble fireplace, made out of the marbles Noir de Mazy and a Brèche de Sanguine.  Late 19th century.  Origin: Belgium. In perfect condition.  This Napoléon III fireplace was made in the late nineteenth century of Belgian Noir de Mazy and the detached, massive columns are made of a vivid, orange-red Bréche de Sanguine.  A perfect match. The panelled frieze is highlited by façet-lozenges. These warm-vivid colors gives a great movement to this huge fireplace. Noir de Mazy is one of the finest Belgian marbles, black as black can be.  Mined at an average depth of 70 meters.   This impressive fireplace will be delivered inclusive original, old marble tiles, to make a frontfloor.
