Circa 1855 - 1870 France A printed silk Bourette curtain dating from the Second French Empire. Rustic twill weave Silk and cotton blend printed with a large striped decor inspired by India and Indian women. Large vertical stripes on an andrinople red background decorated with stylized diamonds, alternating with bouquets of artichokes on a white background. Strong polychromy in green, red, ocher yellow, black and blue colors. Fabric without lining with its edges. In new antique condition and never used. Excellent condition of color and conservation Dimensions: 195 cm wide x 340 cm high
