Napoleon III Fireplace, Palladian

This Napoléon III (1852-1871) fireplace was made out of the highly valued Griotte marble and the blackest black Noir de Mazy, during the second half of the nineteenth century. The Napoléon III period is often highly eclectic.  This impressive fireplace stood once in an important Maison du Maitre in Quartier Laeken in Brussels. One photo shows this fireplace during the restoration, when it was on our 'intensive care'. This fireplace features various ornamentation, the pilaster-shaped jambs are crowned by ionic capitals and little bronzes. The Griotte marble is vividly deep red with a taste of choclat and is famous for prestige and greater luxury. This fireplace will be delivered with old marble tiles in Carrara and Noir de Mazy, to make a frontfloor.        Delivery with its original bronze andirons. Worldwide shippings. Delivery in Europe possible by Antique Fireplaces First as 'In house delivery'.
