"AU MATELOT" clock, known as the "negro" clock, frieze and attributes evoking maritime trade, in gilded bronze with mercury and patinated. Sublime original matte and shiny mercury gilding, exceptional overall condition. Movement with cutaway wire, 18th screw, revised by watchmaker with its pendulum and its 2 original keys. Enamel dial in perfect condition (unrestored), Directoire hands in gilded bronze with mercury. Photos taken without flash in sunlight.
