Very rare Louis XVI period cartel due to its movement, original verge escapement not modified, small wheel at the back of the plate which triggers the hour and a half strike, very interesting movement (see photos ...) Revised by watchmaker with its wire balance and key. Large amplitude of the balance. Enamel dial with 24 digits signed Mayeu A Chalon, very beautiful original hands finely chiseled, pretty decorated golden drop. Everything is original and period.
