Atypical small Art Nouveau piece of furniture in solid cherry wood taking up the bamboo design of the 1900s. This piece of furniture, unusual in its design and the type of wood used for its production, has a frieze drawer, lined with a square on each side and a rectangle in the center. These are in relief thanks to the half-mouldings imitating bamboo. This original drawer has 2 original brass knobs. Below we discover a framed door with its recessed panel, dressed in the perimeter of a quarter round in the bamboo taste. This door is embellished with an original brass button and a latch. Inside, we can note the presence of an adjustable shelf on a rack. On each side of the door, a finely carved pilaster brings balance and harmony to the whole. This pretty piece of furniture rests on a projecting plinth, dressed in the same vegetal decoration and supported by two "ball" legs on the front. The top is made up of 3 well-joined solid cherry elements.
