Officer's Pistol Converted From Flintlock To French Percussion, 19th Century
Beautiful officer's pistol with barrel with sides, tromblonné of 22cm. Diameter at the muzzle of the barrel 15 mm. Three golden hallmarks of Saint-Etienne on its three upper sides. Hair scratches at the exit of the barrel, the inside of the barrel smooth and in very good condition without oxidation. Walnut frame with short slightly sculpted and checkered stem, oval steel cap. Steel ramrod with brass head (not original). Platinum and dog with flat body unsigned with very good functioning, fireplace in very good condition. Overall length 37.5cm. Ref S4689
