Polychrome wood Christ, 17th century
Christ is depicted dead, the head wearing a twisted crown and leaning to the right on a muscular torso. Arms are raised in a slightly bent movement pulling towards the back, with open hands. Waist wears a short perizonium knoted on each side, with a flap falling on right hip. Legs are strongly bent, with feet positioned in an asymmetrical posture on a suppedaneum decorated with molding.
Very good condition, some lacks of color, remains of glue on the back of suppedaneum.
