Rondache, Shield, Persia, XIX Century

Rondache, shield called "Dhal" in brass with chiseled decoration of pendants adorned with floral motifs.
In the center a defensive pike, decorated. Around the perimeter, an epigraphic frieze.
The set is embellished with three dimples. On the reverse, a brass handle.
Persia, Iran, 19th century Kadjar art Diameter: 27.7 cm,
slight traces of oxidation and used condition.
