Pair Of Rose Water Bottles, Chiseled Copper With Persian Scenes, Iran Circa 1920 - 1930

Pair of pear-shaped flasks in chiseled copper on all sides, end of the Kadjar period, largely decorated with three scenes from stories from ancient Persia engraved in medallions.
All beautifully crafted before 1925. In sumptuously crafted copper, these bottles each close with a decorated Dominic fretel stopper.
Decoration of medallions separated by pendants in the shape of a halberd for one and a boteh for the other.
.Originally from Persia, Iran, these well hermetic objects, were used to contain rose water, perfume, very appreciated in the East.
The Kadjar dynasty or Kadjars (Qājār, Qadjar, Qajar, Persian: قاجار ) is a Turkmen dynasty that ruled Iran from 1786 to 1925.
These marvelous coppers, were under the Safavid or Kadjar dynasties, an eminent alternative to silver and they enjoyed the same status.
These objects certainly lived on as the centerpieces of Persian homes.
