Silver-plated proof by French sculptor Maurice Frecourt. A pupil of Valton and Boucher, Frecourt specialized in animal representation. His youth and his enthusiasm allow him to make a name for himself in the field of the arts. "The Pheasant" is a naturalistic work representing a game fixed on these two legs, on a terrace planted with ferns and foliage.
