"Inlaid Mirror - Languedoc - XVII°"
Louis XIII mirror in walnut marquetry, walnut burl, “burnt” sycamore, boxwood and blackened wood.It offers on the frame a beautiful inlaid decoration mixing oak leaves, acanthus leaves made with the technique of ''shading with hot sand''.
Geometric reserves surrounded by light and dark wood nets, whose heart-shaped spandrels in the corners complete this rich ornamentation.
A central ebonized wood border frames the mercury beveled mirror and contrasts elegantly with the brightly colored marquetry decor.
