"Museum: Folding Dolphin Key, Gallo-roman Period,"
Superb key-pendant, a bronze jewel from 5th or 6th century, small size and high quality.
This Personal Key was hold as ring or pendant; It is bronze or copper alloy, the hollow stem with its 3 closed openings bit revolves around an axis held by two facing dolphin heads, slender design, the ring is size of finger, and the object could be a jewel.
Good condition for this little wonder, untouched patina.
See exemplary of the Met Museum on last photo, quite comparable.
