Large portrait of an elegant Lady of quality from the beginning of the 18th century of the Louis XIV period, it may be an important person, certainly of character as we observe it expressed in its pose attitude. Lady dressed indoors in a very rich and rare double bodice of finely designed openwork lace, bodice clearing the shoulders and falling in a point between the folds of a red silk stole to which, on her right shoulder, is held by a thin jewel a blue silk scarf wrapping the lower bust.
Portrait in very good condition, formerly relined and placed in its original gilded carved wooden frame.

Dimensions:
Height 89 cm
Width 75.5 cm
