"Mahogany Tea Table, Louis XVI Style - 1910"
This round table is made up of a speckled mahogany veneer top arranged in four leaves. It is encrusted with garlands of light wood and a net of different essences, and its perimeter is molded with a fine groove. The belt, in mahogany, is inlaid with lemon tree fillets and compositions representing a soup tureen, foliage and scrolls in light and tinted wood. This piece of furniture rests on four sheathed legs, with edges in lemon tree and sides encrusted with falls of flowers of the same essence. We find, in the lower part, four elements in solid rosewood, slightly concave, meeting in the center, and supporting a small circular mahogany tablet with light wood marquetry. Refined and harmonious, this tea table will seduce with its dimensions and the choice of its essences.
