Empire sterling silver oil and vinegar set ; rare, original and beautiful early 19th century model decorated with winged sphinxes, typical Empire symbol used after Napoleon's campaign in Egypt. Circa 1800

It has various stamps : - French hallmark rooster 1st title (in use from 1798 to 1809 for .950 purity silver) - French silversmith association (in use at the end of 18th century onwards) - silversmith Ambroise Mignerot, inscribed in 1800

The whole set is in excellent condition : no bumps, no distorsion, no chip on the crystal bottles.
