Rare sideboard or chest of drawers with mahogany and mahogany veneer doors. Inverted half-moon shape with hollow sides, it opens with a large belt drawer and a two-door cupboard. It is garnished with a rich decoration of chiseled and mercury-gilded bronzes (frames with rows of pearls, asparagus in the grooves, rosettes in the connecting dice, keyholes). Luxury furniture, it is topped with a rare Brocatelle marble from Spain, which makes all the difference with ordinary quality furniture. It is mounted on an oak structure, the cupboards are also molded inside and veneered with mahogany. circa 1800, Directoire style. Beautiful amateur piece of furniture, high quality and very original.
