Cadaquès or Le Paradis Perdu, work of the painter Roca Sans, dates from 1978 and corresponds to the 1st era of the artist.
This landscape is an outdoor painting, made from the terrace of the house he occupied during his truant escapades from the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona where he studied.

In those years when abstraction and conceptual art dominated the artistic scene, the young painter Roca Sans (Barcelona, ​​1946) followed his instincts and swam against the current by painting landscapes and portraits with a new look.

The paintings of this period, already all with a strong personality, prefigure what will be his artistic creation. This oil on canvas is in very good condition, signed lower right.
