Bronze Christ, 17th century
Depicted dead, with head leaning to the right, this Christ shows a muscular body with thick limbs and a round belly. Legs are bent with superimposed feet in inward rotation, and arms are raised in a semi-circle with closed hands.
He wears a short perizonium knoted on the right hip. On the head without a crown of thorns, hair falls in long wavy locks on the back and each side of the face.
Excellent condition, remains of gilding, dark patina on the back.
