Artist: Marcel Pagnol
Marcel Pagnol was born on February 28, 1895 in Aubagne, he died on April 18, 1974 in Paris. Autograph letter written and signed by the hand of Marcel Pagnol, addressed to Mr Mounet (collaborator of René baschet, director of the Journal l'Illustration). This letter is not dated but it was written in 1929. It states that he is working on MARIUS, his play which will be performed at the theater at the end of March 1929. It is through this play by MARIUS that Marcel Pagol will become famous. In 1943, he founded his own production company and film studios in Marseille. He will shoot with the great actors of his time: Raimu, Fernandel, Pierre Fresnay ..... Good condition (glued cleanly on a cardboard bookmark)
