Bronze plaquette in strong relief, Adoration of the Shepherds, 19th century
The scenery takes place in an arch-shaped niche inscribed in a square, with in each top corner a cherub head ornementation. Baby Jesus is depicted laid down on a fabric in the manger. The Virgin stands behind him, with left hand on her heart. Standing on the left, with a fruits basket put down at his feet, Saint Joseph holds a lantern. On the right side, four shepherds are in adoration, one of whom bears a lamb on his shoulders.
Excellent condition, a suspension ring at the top, dark brown patina.
