d' Argental Cristallerie De Saint- Louis Paul Nicolas Candy Box Decorated With Stylized Roses Circa 1920 - 1925 Art Deco

Rare box, candy box in acid-etched multilayer glass. Lid with engraved decoration in reserve of stylized roses, typical of the Art Deco period. Bullet-shaped grip. Beautiful contrast between the pink-coloured matt satin-treated roses and their dark red-coloured shiny treated leaves on a well-contrasted yellow/honey satin background. Shape and decoration created by master glassmaker Paul Nicolas (1875-1952). Cameo signature "d'Argental" on the edge of the lid. Beautiful resonance of the material which tinkles like a bell which denotes a production of the Cristallerie de Saint-Louis. Dimensions: Diameter 12 cm Height 10.5 cm Very good condition.
