Iran Tarom Zandjan Rug Circa 1950
Iranian village carpet, Tarom region, Zandjan province, "Iranian Azerbaijan". It dates from the late 1950s and was hand-knotted in a totally artisanal way.
Beautiful colors with a geometric pattern embellished with many stylized patterns representing animals, flowers and plants.
Will fit perfectly into a contemporary interior.
This rug measures 222 x 122 cm, its colors are fresh and the fringes have been preserved.
A careful inspection confirms the very good condition of the object, the thickness is regular and the frame is solid; there is just a small wear of fringes on the edge of 2 cm (see last photo).
