Pitcher from the 60s by Michel Anasse in sandstone, in two slightly concave straight-shaped parts forming a ring at a third of its height. It is enamelled with white flecked with brown. Model reproduced in "Marks and Signatures of the ceramic art of the Côte d'Azur" by Jean-Claude Martin, Sudarènes editions, page 26. Perfect condition

Michel Anasse (born in 1935) Ceramist and sculptor with his wife Nicole (1937-2012). After two visits to Vallauris in 1953 and 1955 around Jean Derval, Gilbert Portanier and the Argonautes, they opened the "Les Issarts" workshop there in 1956. He will then exhibit in France and abroad. In 1977, they opened a new workshop "la Frache" in Jausiers (Alpes de Haute Provence).
