Rare Suite Of Four Directoire Chairs.
Exceptional set of four Provençal chairs from the end of the 18th century or the very beginning of the 19th century. The model is rare. Cherry wood, in very good condition. Seat, 42 cm. The facade is decorated with a band of small columns and pearls, two veiled heads wearing a scarf on two very arched feet with lion paws. Well arched backrests also with columns and cartridges sculpted with crowned eagle, deer and exotic animals, dromedary and ostrich. Flowers on the back, very good quality of the sculpture. Very great elegance.
