Pair Of Armchairs In Solid Cuban Mahogany, Restoration Period - Early Nineteenth

Elegant armchairs in solid Cuban Mahogany of small dimensions resting on front hock legs and rear saber legs. The continuity of the rear legs is made by an overturned console supporting the smooth armrests. On the sides, we discover sculpted ornamentation representing rosettes and palmettes. The seats in excellent condition have been redone in the old fashioned way with straps, springs and horsehair. They are covered with a fine fabric with a slightly silvery background accompanied by foliage and stylized patterns, surrounded by edging and braid. Refined, these character armchairs with soft, rounded lines will find their place in your living room or office.
